How does Mars is Burning work?
The game is split up into Sessions and Contact Time.
Sessions represent the Recreation Time of Block 7 within Station Tartarus, The exact reason for the meetings may vary during the course of the game, but the GM team will ensure that they continue to occur and that there is a reason for PC’s to be there.
During these meetings, players exchange news, meet with other prisoners, get assigned tasks for the next work cycle, and make plans of their own. The GMs will be on hand to offer help, advice, information and to keep the game running smoothly, as well as playing various NPCs every week.
Each week between games represents one week of IC time.
Contact Time represents the hour of open communication that work groups will have access to.This is done over discord where permissions will be given to organise groups agreed upon(or not) within the sessions.
Downtime This is an optional thing that we will discuss. Downtime is where players can submit an action their character is undertaking and the GM’s prepare a response.
